A seven week reward based course taking young people through seven practices that are proven to support the development of Healthy Self-Esteem. These being the practices of (G.R.I.P. A3).

The course utilises a variety of learning stimuli designed to enable young people to experience and practice within themselves and with others the key course aspects, which are also directly transferable to the world that the young people have to participate in.

Team Development & Leadership

A 4 element course that seeks to develop leadership skills from amongst the participants. Starting with team development understanding how we as individuals fit into and work effectively as part of a team, Assertiveness skills, practical problem solving, concluding with confidence building and goal setting. Group members are put through a series of problems that seek to identify leadership traits such as decision making, taking responsibility, Communication & listening, developing people skills, Styles of leadership, resourcefulness, determination and persistence, planning and organisation.

Team Development

Indoor team building session designed to assist young people in recognising their strengths, weaknesses and the benefits of team working. Through practical activity and client processing.

Staff Development

Introducing Healthy Self-Esteem (Training workshop)

A 1 day workshop designed to give adults or those working with young people an insight in to what Healthy Self-Esteem is, how it can be practically applied to ones own life and how we can practically develop Healthy Self-Esteem in those who we work with. The session gives basic understandable theory of Self-esteem & practical effective ways to integrate & deliver it in your own programmes. (Please note: The greater part of the course is practical.)

Motivating Young People

The first 15 minutes are amongst the most important when trying to engage young people. Get it right at this stage and your session will flow, get it wrong and you could be in trouble. A course designed for those people who work with young people. From working with well structured established groups to the first meeting with a hard to reach group. You will learn how to structure a course so that young people will want to learn, how to break the ice, how to tackle difficult situations and rescuing a failing session.
